MISSION STATEMENT

Most people today subscribe to the view that what you believe is your own affair. Beliefs are personal and usually not open to discussion, and therefore to be confined to an “upstairs room”, a private affair not open to public discussion. We believe that the Christian worldview is very much a “downstairs” set of beliefs, historically true and able to stand up to investigation about its claims. This was the motive for setting up the Resource Centre with its comprehensive library of both books and audio-visual material, freely available to all our visitors, while at the same time giving people the opportunity to discuss ideas in a safe environment. No matter how old (or young) you are you are invited to examine your own ideas about life in a non-threatening way, either through borrowing abook or talking to someone else present, and draw your own conclusions about whether or not they stack up against reality.
