Founded in 1986, The Door Trust is a charitable Trust promoting the Christian faith. Since 2010, the Trust has been responsible for running the An Dorus Christian Resouce Centre, based in Salen on the Isle of Mull. The Centre offers an extensive library of over 7500 Christian books, and a collection of 300+ DVD’s plus computer facilities, There are separate sections for both adults and young people, and a section devoted to those with little or no previous knowledge of the Christian worldview, or way of looking at things, but wishing to explore for themselves. The Trust is responsible for the upkeep of An Dorus, and also supports other Chrsitian charities through donations. it is managed by a committe of 5 Trustees, two of which are based on Mull and are responsible for the day to day running of An Dorus.
